This article examines the tradition of khataman Al-Qur'an held every Friday night in Sempu Talungagung village, Banyuwangi. Based on in-depth interviews with local religious leaders,  this tradition has been  going  on for generations as a form  of practicing Islamic  values  in social  life. This tradition includes reciting  the holy verses  of the  Qur'an  in  congregation, tahlil,  praying  together, and  ends  with sharing  food as a symbol  of gratitude and togetherness. The night of Friday Legi was   chosen   because  of  the   local   community's  belief   that   the   time   brings blessings.  In  addition,  this  tradition  reflects   the  concept   of  Living   Sunnah, namely  the sunnah  of the Prophet Muhammad PBUH which is lived and adapted in the local cultural context.  Using descriptive qualitative methods, this research reveals   how  this  tradition  strengthens  religious  values,   social  cohesion  and cultural relevance. This  khataman tradition is  not  only  a  means  to  increase faith,  but also builds  social  solidarity in the community. ER -
